I was skeptical, but this stuff is amazing! I followed the directions on the back and used 1 lb. rotisserie chicken from Sams, 1 lb. andouille sausage cut up small, and 1 lb. smoked sausage cut up small. I boiled it for 1 hour, and really…it’s a winner for the whole family-5 year old included! I came here to order a bunch more including some for gifts. Easy, hearty dinner!

I bought this while I was in New Orleans and am ordering more! Super easy, and super flavorful. I de-boned a rotisserie chicken and added andouille sausage. I haven’t tried the seafood version, but that may be next. I live in MN, so it is fun to have a taste of NOLA now and then, and this hits the spot.

The gumbo mix makes GREAT gumbo. I followed the package directions but also browned the sausage, too. Added some sautéed onion and the mix and easy-peasy, wonderful gumbo. Ordering again!
